The roles of different inotropes like Milrinone and levosimendan in this unique population would be discussed in the light of the available supportive evidence. Additionally, the values of perioperative monitoring of cerebral and somatic oxygenation using the near-infrared spectroscopy would be addressed in the paediatric patients with low cardiac output syndrome.  That would be presented by key-note speakers in paediatric cardiac anaesthesia, intensive care and extracorporeal perfusion from Europe, US and Middle East. That would be an interactive webinar with the possibility of the attending worldwide delegates to ask question and receive answers by speakers and moderators.

Incidence, definition and diagnosis of LCOS (30 min) - Dr David Faroni, US
Use of milrinone vasopressors in the prevention/treatment of LCOS (30 min) - Dr Ehrenfried Schnidler, Germany
Use of Levosimendan inotropes in the prevention/treatment of LCOS (30 min) - Dr Mirela Bojan, France
